Greggi G – Double Bass / Main Vocals
A guy that has a true zest for life that comes across well in
his performances. A fun loving guy that gets everyone's attention with
his dynamic lead vocal, and rock steady dog house double
bass playing.
I first got into music at the tender age of 12. My uncle gave me an old
Salvation Army drum kit, for a while I bashed n crashed away in my bedroom, but
sadly the neighbors didn't agree, so I took up singing lessons. I swapped the
drum kit for an old hofner bass guitar my younger brother played the piano. In
no time we were playing some boogie-woogie together and I was hooting n a
howling. Time to put a band together. I met an old friend in a music shop that
not only had a double bass for sale but also played guitar. So he joined
the band and I bought the double bass! I placed an ad in the music shop for a
drummer and didn't even get home and I had a drummer. Time for a name, the
first song we learnt was a Carl Perkins song -rhythm bound, that's it the name
for the band RHYTHM BOUND.
My first gig was at a social club in my village, the band used to practice
there and soon people came to listen.
I then joined the WILD ANGELS. I stayed with them until they split up and I
then joined the chart topping band MATCHBOX.
I then decided to form my own band again - Greggi G and his Crazy Gang. My music has
taken me all over the world to places like Italy. Spain. France. Holland.
Belgium. Even Yugoslavia. And Florida. I’ve also had the pleasure to work with
- The comets (bill Haley’s band), the crickets (buddy holly’s band), the blue
caps (gene Vincents band), Jerry burns, Adam faith, Cliff Richard, Joe
brown. Janis martin, Hayden Thompson, Carl Perkins, Big Al Downing, Marty wild,
Wee Willy Harris, Freddie fingers lee, Screaming lord sutch, Fats domino, Chuck
berry, Glitter Band, Chas & Dave, Mud, But to name a few. And also toured
with Jerry lee Lewis.

Boogie Boy 'H' – Piano / Accordion / Backing Vocals
Boogie Boy 'H' has been
playing the piano since before he could walk. H has travelled throughout
Europe with Matchbox and other great rocking bands, before returning to his
roots and teaming up with big brother Greggi G to complete the lineup for The Crazy Gang.
H is also an accomplished
accordion player and song writer, and has written some great tracks, some of
which can be heard on the new cds.

Charlie Sticks - Drums / Backing Vocals
Charlie spent his formative years in tooting, moving
to Kingston upon Thames when he was 15. During that year at school, he was
asked to join a band. Drummer was the only vacancy that hadn't been filled, so
drummer it was then, better get some drums he thought. When he got the drums
home, he found that he could hold down basic rhythms straight away, so never
bothered with lessons until 8 years ago. He played with cover bands in his
teens and formed a 50's rock n roll band called thunderbird while still at school,
and played on the rock n roll circuit sharing the bill with the likes of flying
saucers, crazy cavan, matchbox, flight 56, rocky sharp and the razors, and many
more. In 1975 thunderbird went out to Rotterdam to the exit club where they
played alongside shakin Stevens and the sunsets and rocky sharp. The following
year he went with the wild angels to Scandinavia. Then his career took a
diversion, when a mad Aussie piano player called Colin Hindmarsh asked him to
join his band working 6 nights a week in pubs and clubs around London,
including the beer Keller Trafalgar square and the Nashville rooms. This led on
to work on P&O cruise ships the oriana and the Canberra, taking him right
around the world. Thinking there was more than just percussion in him he took
up bass guitar and started playing social clubs and British legions - nothing
wrong with that! But the drums got the better of him in the end, and he went
back to them after a brief flirtation with another calling.
Met up with Greggi and H in the 80's, joined the Crazy Gang in 96, finally decided to take drum lessons in 2001, and started teaching
drums in 2003. Music is his job now.
